Colour: Medium lemon with gold core. Nose: Round and rich on the nose, showing tones of savoury meats, spice, bread and brine. Palate: It's a medium-bodied, savoury white wine with fresh, glassy texture and a briny finish. The perfect all-round food wine.

Vineyard: The fruit was estate grown in Kangarilla, McLaren Vale. Winemaking: A blend of 35% Grenache blanc, 30% Clairette, 20% Roussanne, 10% Picpoul, 5% Bourboulenc. Hand-picked, wild yeast fermented, whole bunch pressed. Kept on lees, stirred monthly.

    Seriously good stuff. I can see why this dominated the show scene. Texture is the name of the game here. A rich and powerful food wine.
