Colour: Deep watermelon blush Nose: Candied watermelon, strawberry, cream and citrus rind. Palate: The wine has all the traits of Grenache rose, light pink, watermelon, sweet candy and strawberries, it's clean and crisp and has some grippy texture, great length. Another wicked wine.  

Vineyard: This fruit is off the late Loom Vineyard, old bush vine 100+ yr old McLaren Vale Grenache. (same block as the 2018 Loom SV Grenache Rose) Winemaking: Fruit was handpicked, de-stemmed into the press and left to soak overnight on skins, pressed the previous morning we separated the free run from the pressings to keep the juice as clean as possible. Cold settled over 48 hrs then racked and inoculated. A very similar ferment to the Sauvignon Blanc, cold and long at 13C.
