Long Yarn 2017 Pinot Noir

Rated 4.50 out of 5 based on 2 customer ratings

Certainly looks like a Pinot, and smells like one too… typical soil tossed cherry and strawberry like aromas with a hint of funk all of which carry through to the palate. There’s plenty of fruit weight and a touch of tannin and whilst it’s not overly complicated there’s more than enough intrigue to keep you engaged. Silky and unobtrusive, I’d be hard pressed to think of a better value wine to cozy up with on an Autumn evening.

SG score 8.5/10

Alcohol 14% vol.

Normally not a Pinot lover (that’s a bloody understatement!) – Fruity flowers (or flowery twats!), hints of elderberry & Winston Churchill’s long sucked cigar.

This has to be one of the best PINOT’s I have ever tasted for the price… 3 cases later…
